Manchester International Football Academy take on Salford University twice in a busy week for the players.

MIFA’s first team get a visit from Salford Uni’s first team on Tuesday, following a lack of action last week with the weather playing a huge part in the game against UCLAN being called off.

MIFA’s second team will see Salford Uni’s second team come to Salford Sports Village on Thursday. They will be looking to put together a better display this week and get a result after a disappointing loss to Hopwood Hall College last Wednesday.

The games come in a busy week for MIFA, with new player Pedro Valle starting on Monday and a visit from Ali Nsangou on Tuesday afternoon.

Ali is an English FA licensed sports psychologist based between the UK and Cameroon and uses his footballing experience as a professional coach and scout to recruit players.

The coach, who has worked with Blackburn FC, will take time on Tuesday to talk to the players and answer their questions about bettering themselves and how to be professionals both inside and outside of sport.

Both matches against Salford University are free to watch at Salford Sports Village. The firsts kick off at 11am on Tuesday, whilst the seconds kick off at 11am on Wednesday, so make sure you come down and watch!
