MIFA played two matches against Dereham Football Academy at Salford Sports Village, both games were extremely competitive and played in the right way. It was the first time MIFA had been able to put together two squads in our short history, a occasion made better by the quality and level of performance from both sets of players.
Match 2 - FETA vs MIFA
MIFA travelled away to play over at Platt Lane on Friday 11th November, Chris Mason and Jos Bakker taking the team for this match. The first half was dominated by MIFA who kept possession of the ball well throughout the period. creating numerous chances to score.
MIFA took the lead through Ulises Chavez who scored a fantastic volley at the front post after some clever play from Yannick Daha down the left hand side. MIFA scored their second of the game and a goal of the season contender, Peter Genicot scored a great long range effort that nestled into the top corner, the first half finishing 2-1 to MIFA.
The second half MIFA started to even brighter and more intent on scoring goals, the end result was 8-1 to Manchester International Football Academy, Chris Mason and Jos Bakker extremely happy with the teams performance and finishing qualities.
