Third win of the week for the academy, this coming against a very experienced SSL side. MIFA started very brightly scoring from the spot after only two minutes. A powerful run with the ball from MIFA's striker Reward, saw him brought down, he dusted himself off to step up and convert.
MIFA doubled the lead on 25 minutes when full back Ulises Chavez curled a superb free kick into the goal. The second half MIFA lost concentration and conceded two quick goals. With the game level MIFA started to get on the ball and create more chances, and it wasn't long before Yannick Daha placed the ball into the goal from close range.
MIFA then got their two goal advantage back when Reward doubled his goals tally, smashing the ball home from six yards.
Fantastic end to a tough week of training and games.
