Quinton Fortune takes a session at the academy Quinton Fortune, ex Manchester United FC player comes to MIFA to deliver a guest coaching session for our players
Quinton Fortune is a South African former footballer who was able to play both as a midfielder and as a defender. He moved to Europe at the age of 14 to play for English club Tottenham Hotspur, his performances earned him a move back to England with Manchester United in 1999, and he spent seven years there as a part of manager Alex Ferguson's squad. He also earned 46 caps for South Africa, and played at the 1998 and the 2002 World Cups.
Quinton came to deliver a two hour session for our players at Salford Sports Village. It was a fantastic experiene for player and staff alike to witness a man with great experiene delivering a session for our academy players.
