MIFA is pleased to announce that for the 2024/25 season, we have partnered with a new education provider- rated Good from OFSTED. This new partnership will allow our students to recieve high quality educational provision, alongside full time football training- mirroring that of top football professionals.
MIFA understands the importance of education and equipping yourself with qualifications for your future. As an academy we use football as a vehicle for education, therefore all qualifications are integrated into a full time football training schedule.
As an academy, we appreciate each player is on an journey, starting with different experiences. As a small, personable Academy, we are able to support our students on an individual basis, ensuring they develop and move forward.
We offer recognised qualifications in Sport, with English and Maths skills. We offer both Level 2 and Level 3 Diploma courses, depending on your prior attainment.
NEW for this season we now offer a Level 3 qualification in Gym Instructing and Personal Training. This is a great opportunity for young people to gain a recognised qualification, above the age of 18- which will directly give you opportunities for employment.

Work towards achieving your Level 2 Diploma in Sport, whilst football training everyday.
The one year course allows you to study Sports Coaching, including life skills and career development, whilst allowing you to train like a pro footballer, everyday!
The programme is a strong introduction into the Sports Sector. Learners will cover topics including Participating in Sport, Sport Coaching, Developing Sporting Skills and Tactical Awareness and more. Giving learners the foundation of sports vocation.
As an academy we appreciate that all learners start with individual attainment and experiences. Our personable approach will help each learner develop and move forward- considering their personal needs. Some students may not have any prior attainment and our unique approach to education, and using football as a vehicle, can help make young people feel comfortable within the classroom environment.
The Level 2 course allows pathways into Level 3 qualification's- which attract UCAS points for university applications.
This qualification in Sport is a two year course, which is a more in-depth look at the sporting industry from the Level 2. The course is run alongside full time football training, with classroom sessions incorporated into the programme. The course is equivalent to British A Levels and upon successful completion, is recognised for University entry.
The qualification is for learners who wish to develop their skills and knowledge for working in the sport sector. Learners could seek employment in the sector directly after achieving the qualification, or could progress to an undergraduate degree at college or university and then onto employment.
All students will undertake full time football training, mirroring that of a professional footballer, alongside their programme. By using football as a vehicle for education, students gain the opportunity to achieve a strong qualification, within a practical environment.

NEW for 2024/25 Season!
This qualification is open to players aged 18+.
The course will allow young people the opportunity to continue to progress with their football, with full time training, whilst also working towards an industry recognised qualification.
The programme will incorporate educational, practical sessions in the gym, alongside an intense football schedule.
Individuals can progress into employment, following completion of the course.
