Overseeing all first team injuries, pitch side support, providing assessments, diagnosis, and rehab.
Adam graduated from the University of Salford in 2018 with a BSc (Hons) in Sport Rehabilitation. Adam had previously studied sports therapy in his origin of Ireland graduating in 2015, Both courses have led Adam to have an extensive knowledge of musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries and their rehabilitation.
As a student in the UK, Adam worked with professional sports people in various settings, such as an extensive placement with Toronto Wolfpack RLC. He also got the opportunity to shadow and observe an orthopaedic surgeon in both practice and theatre at Ormskirk and Southport general hospital. Previously to coming to the UK, Adam gained experience in Ireland working In Gaelic football and hurling as a team therapist.
For the past two seasons Adam has been the head sport rehabilitator at Irlam football club, overseeing all first team injuries, pitch side support, providing assessments, diagnosis, and rehab.
As well as being apart of the MIFA team, Adam currently works with Leigh Centurions RLC and in various private clinical practices.
