|Graham is a former Welsh footballer who played as a fullback. He spent his 17-year professional career at West Bromwich Albion. He joined West Brom as an amateur in September 1954 and turned professional in 1955. He captained the side to victory in the 1966 Football League Cup Final and 1968 FA Cup Final, scoring in the second leg of the 1966 final against West Ham. He also won 26 caps for Wales.
After leaving Albion in 1972 he took up the post of player-manager with Weymouth, with whom he remained until 1975. In November 1981, he was appointed chief coach of Cardiff City. Graham took several coaching jobs abroad steering Finnish team RoPS to the quarter finals of the European Cup Winners' Cup. Later in his career he served as the Assistant Manager of Wales.
Chris is a UEFA B qualified coach with over 10 years' experience in professional football. He began his career as a centre forward playing for League 2 side Bury FC, where he finished as leading goal scorer over two seasons. From Bury, Chris went on to become an international player representing clubs in Malta, Sweden and most notably Bala Town FC in the Welsh Premier League; finishing both 2010 /11 in the top five goal scorers in the Welsh league.
Chris joined Manchester International Football Academy in 2011 and has been instrumental in the development and success of the Academy. As Academy Manager, Chris oversees and delivers the training and education programme and is responsible for the management of fixtures, player progression and wellbeing. Chris is extremely dedicated and passionate about creating an environment which fosters, promotes and develops young talent. In addition to his role at MIFA, Chris is an Academy Coach at Blackburn Rovers FC.
|Ian has a passion for football and a passion for helping young players progress their lives on-and-off the pitch through his coaching and friendly tutorship. Educated through the FA's Youth Award's and currently engaged in his UEFA B Licence, Ian assists with the co-ordination of our football and study programmes which guide our players to their next level. In addition, Ian is also responsible for the ongoing building of relationships between ourselves and schools within the local area in order for MIFA to expand and grow to its full potential while offering a viable and sustainable progression route for boys and girls looking for a career in football and/or sport.|
|Jack has been involved in football from a very early age. Having played for Stoke City Academy as a youngster, he progressed into the Youth Team and Reserves at Morecambe Football Club. He impressed during his time at the Football League Club and was rewarded with a place on the bench for the first team in a League 2 game away at Southend, however he narrowly missed out on a first team professional contract, due to financial restraints. Jack has come in to MIFA as a Trainee Coach and Marketing & Administration Apprentice as we look to progress on and off the pitch, he will assist Chris & Ian with the daily training schedule.|
|Melanie is the Academy Administrator and will often be the first point of contact when you get in touch with MIFA. She loves working at MIFA and really enjoys meeting the different players that come from all over the world and enjoys seeing them grow and progress throughout their time at the Academy. Melanie brings with her over 8 years of administrative experience and is enjoying using this experience to help the MIFA team grow and progress. In her spare time she loves spending time with her little son Jack and doing fun activities with him like taking him to swimming, going on walks and of course, playing football.|
|Hannah has been involved with MIFA from the beginning, working within administration. She has really enjoyed seeing every player who attends the academy grow and move forward and has found it extremely rewarding to be involved with MIFA. Hannah is an advanced dancer who studies at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. She has had a big involvement within sport her whole life, competing at a high level in hurdles competitions for many years. Football has always had significance, having played herself when she was younger. All Hannah's family are involved in football; she even takes her baby brother to tiny training sessions for the u-5's! When Hannah is not studying she enjoys Pilates, cooking and running.|
