Gordon Hill visits the academy!

Ex Manchester United player visits MIFA Very special week at MIFA as we were lucky enough to have the company of Manchester United footballing legend, Gordon Hill.

Last week was a very special week here at MIFA as we were lucky enough to have the company of Manchester United footballing legend, Gordon Hill. Gordon enjoyed a fabulous career at United following his £70,000 move from Millwall at just 21 years old.

He was a Red Devil for 3 years whilst racking up an impressive tally of 39 goals in just 101 appearances playing on the wing. Gordon was the epitome of exciting, young English football and actually went on to pick up 6 caps for the national team a year after joining United; every footballer’s dream. 

We at MIFA are focused on helping our players reach their ambitions in hope someday they might achieve even half of what Gordon has in his football career. This is why we are always looking to bring opportunities like these to our players; the chance to meet an ex-professional and see what they believe it takes to make it in such a competitive industry.
