This week, MIFA welcomed four new starters to our family through our affiliation with The University of Salford’s Graduate Business Associate scheme.
Kawsar Ahmed and Martin Whalley, will be taking on Sports Rehabilitation roles which will see them both working closely with our players to develop a workout schedule, fitness and dietary plans and help with recovery post-games and for on-going injuries.
Sajjadulhaq Pervez will be collaborating with MIFA Director Ross Johnson, overseeing the financial side of the academy and working with our accountants, whilst Sam Houlton will be our head of Marketing to come up with new and interesting ways to promote MIFA.
The Graduate scheme gives ex-students a chance to get their foot in the door in job roles specific to their degree subject, giving them the necessary skills to put on their CV along with earning a wage.
