MIFA vs Street League 

 

An empathic 11-0 win in this weeks games programme for the academy team. An impressive start to the match saw the team keep possession for long spells of the match and create numerous goalscoring opportunities. It was in the 27 minute when MIFA broke the deadlock and Reward Mwakona scored his first of three goals, a powerful run and shot into the near corner from the edge of the box. 

 

Harry Owen making his first appearance from the start also made an impact on the game scoring a hat-trick, the best of his three goals, a terrific left foot finish in to the bottom left hand corner of the net. The other goal scorers were Ben Rawlinson who scored two after coming on as a substitute, Jordan Lee came on and scored a double and the last goal an fortunate own goal. 

 

A very positive performance from the players who have been working hard in training all week.
